Emma Sullivan Wins Minnesota Farmfest Inaugural National Anthem Contest

The IDEAg Group, LLC announces Emma Sullivan of Morgan, Minnesota, as the winner of Farmfest’s first National Anthem Singing Contest. The Farmfest contest was announced earlier this summer. Contestants were asked to apply on the Farmfest website (www.Farmfest.com) and attach a YouTube Video to be considered.

“After careful review of a number of quality submissions, we are thrilled to announce Emma Sullivan of Franklin, Minnesota as the winner of the Farmfest Inaugural National Anthem Contest,” said Amy LaTessa, Farmfest Show Director. “We truly appreciate all of our contestants for putting in the time and effort required to submit their entries.”

Ms. Sullivan will sing the national anthem on the Wick Buildings Farmfest Center stage on the opening day of Farmfest, Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 8:15 a.m. in front of 500 potential attendees. The performance also will broadcast across the show sound system and livestream on the Farmfest Facebook page. She also receives free entry to Farmfest for herself and up to three guests for Tuesday.

Emma is the daughter of Pat and Jolynn Sullivan and sister to Samual and Addison. In addition to singing the national anthem for school activities at Cedar Mountain High School in Morgan, Emma participates in band, cross country, basketball and choir. She is also an active member of the Birch Coulee 4-H club of Renville County.

Minnesota Farmfest is Aug. 7-9, at the Gilfillan Estate in Redwood Falls, Minnesota.
