The winner will be invited to sing the national anthem on the Wick Buildings Farmfest Center stage the opening day of Farmfest, Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 8:15 a.m. in front of 500 potential attendees. The performance also will broadcast across the show sound system and livestream on the Farmfest Facebook page. The winner will receive free entry to Farmfest for his/herself and up to three guests for Tuesday.
The deadline to apply is July 6. Interested singers can visit the Farmfest website (www.Farmfest.com) to apply. A YouTube video of the applicant singing the national anthem must be submitted for consideration. The winner will be notified in mid-July. Any individual performer can enter the competition, but if the applicant is under the age of 18, they will need parental consent.
